Raise your hand if you've been in a relationship with someone who:
- has an inflated sense of their self-importance
- manipulates others to get their way
- hurts others when they don't get what they want
Today we'll discover the root of these problems and how we can grow past them.

High up on Rich Mountain in the Ouachitas you'll find a whole forest of dwarf oaks. Genetically, these are just like the oaks that grow over 100 feet tall in the valleys. But here, in this windy, sunny, rocky environment, they seldom grow beyond 15-20 feet.
What's the difference? Their environment.
The same can be true for us. When our environment holds us back, God often chooses to uproot us and replant us.
If you feel stuck in a bad environment, or you feel like your life is being uprooted, join us today as we learn how to navigate these times.

We can generally handle suffering when we know we've done something wrong. But unjust suffering. Suffering when we haven't done anything wrong. That's much harder. Why does God allow or cause this?
Today we'll discover that pain and suffering can actually be a setup, not a setback.
Suffering is redemptive, not retaliatory.
Suffering is purposeful, not punitive.
Suffering prepares us to move from glory to gloom.

I'm consistently amazed and convicted by the resolve of the early church to continue proclaiming Christ despite opposition.
Today we'll see they remained joyful and resolute despite being beaten and oppressed. We'll discover what enabled them to live this way. And we'll see how we can have the same power.

What do all of these have in common?
o Worry over what other people think of you.
o Desire to appear younger, fitter, smarter, holier, stronger, tougher, slimmer, healthier, wiser, or better than others.
o Feeling an inner desire to impress others with how much you know.
o Discouragement because you’re not getting the recognition that you deserve.
o At times feeling a desire to lift your hands or express yourself in worship, but choosing not to do so because you worry other people will notice you.
o Fretting for days when you find out someone is disappointed in you or doesn’t like you.
o Pressure you feel when someone asks you to do something, and you know you don’t need to do it or want to do it, but you you’ll probably do it anyway because you don’t want them to think bad things about you.
All these are "downstream" issues caused by one single thing... fear of man.
Today we'll discover the one thing that reduces fear of man and frees us to be the people God created us to be.

If you've ever tried to accomplish anything significant, you've likely felt the sting of criticism.
From raising a child to stepping into a leadership role, anything we do will eventually be questioned and criticized.
If we're not careful, the words of people to us can destroy the work of God in us.
Today we'll discover how to move past the critics.
I'll also be providing an update on HB25-1312 and the next steps we need to take. I'm so proud of you! Keep fighting!!!

HB25-1312 (The Kelly Loving Act) is the most shocking piece of legislation that has ever made its way through the legislative process here in Colorado.
It is unconscionable.
Today, I'm sharing how we can respond.
